Starting a successful business has some guarantees, such as; stress, fatigue, anxiety, insomnia, disappointment and headaches.

Starting a successful business has some other guarantees, such as; satisfaction, pride, insight, the ability to help others and so much more!

Any business you choose, be sure you do plenty of research first. Seek reliable assistance through agencies such as SCORE.

Clearly Thinking About Small Businesses

In Economy, Uncategorized on February 16, 2011 at 4:13 am

L.R.Caldwell International,Inc has done well with the low cost products manufactured abroad. In an attempt to help ‘stay at home moms’, they are seeking help from community leaders and business leaders.

Products sold by L.R.Caldwell International, Inc were all made entirely overseas up until 2010.  Their hopes of helping small retailers and work at home individuals by supplying products which would allow a large profit margin for their customers was sound.  But…..

The Directors were still concerned about the fact that it didn’t touch upon the manufacturing industry in the USA in a positive way.

With this in mind, they decided to add at least 70% of  their product lines from American businesses which have remained in the USA .

Corporations and Community Involvement through WAHM’s

Trying to live “The American Dream” can be a punishable endeavor.

You are trying to raise a family, have 2.5 children, a pet, a home and a job which you show up everyday and do what’s expected of you for the good of the company.

One day, you wake up and find yourself unemployed. Your boss blames it on the economy as the fault of the government, the government blames foreign competition, foreign competition scratches their heads and ask “why continue to buy from us if it hurts your economy?”  This vicious circle never ends.

With employment opportunities becoming less abundant and savings drying up quickly, you are now facing foreclosure.

Now through no fault of your own, your family lost their home, your credit is in shambles and pressure is testing the family’s unity.

Your home is now being sold for a ridiculously low amount, only to be bought up by a wealthy investor who can afford to wait until the market recovers.

Millions of people face this problem.

It is the intention of the L.R.Caldwell International Corporation to assist work at home moms  (and dads) to end this circle. Plans designed to help stay at home moms earn extra cash,  avoid foreclosure, and keep families financialy safe. Several sites are currently addressing this issue, but perhaps none are as effective as www.wahm.com

L.R.Caldwell International, Inc is not affiliated with www.wahm.com in any way. Infact, it was their website which helps shed light on this severly overlooked asset to the American economy.

As most Americans focus on governmental waste of funds and corporate greed, unemployment continues to grow and spred. New jobs being created through government actions? yes, a few (thanks for hiring more tax collectors at tax payer expense).

Corporate greed? Remember, the purpose of a corporation is to generate revenue for shareholders. Those investors have a vested interest in securing profits to support their families and retirement funds for the elderly. Can’t really fault corporations for doing what they were designed to do.

But let’s save that for another post.

Let’s look a WAHM – (Work At Home Moms) and the impact they have on the economy. Large corporations collectively pay billions of dollars in tax revenue every year. Many survive through the efforts of direct marketing done by women working out of their home.

Here is a short list as an example:

1) Avon, Mary Kay-   Multi-billion dollar businesses  creates jobs in over 120 countries. If these work at home moms were hired as employees rather than indepentant agents, Avon would be a larger employer than Walmart.  None the less, they are providing a modest income for many families.

2)Nu Skin-

3) Herbalife-

4)Amway-

While the ecomomy faulters, these corporations increased in value. Profits grew. This was a direct result of more “salespeople” out there. Rather sitback and wait for the government to help the economy, these direct marketers took matters into their own hands.

These men and women have created millions of microbusinesses. Most are not successful. They lack the funding, resources and education to become successful. While they do sell enough collectively to benefit the corporations, they themselves struggle.

Mothers make simple crafts at home have some remarkable talents. They are in essence,  manufacturers. Though small in nature, all have the potential to become a force to be reckoned with. These mini manufacturers are also wholesalers, distributors, marketers and shippers combined. That’s a lot on 1 person’s plate.

They are ridiculed by larger businesses and targts of scam artist. They receive minimal support from government agencies. Current state and federal regulations make starting and succeeding in a new business today extremely difficult at best.
